      Hello Richard,
I have a question. What device do I need in order to read the EEPROM memory?
I have a problem with my CID (shows DISPLAY SAFE) and I'm thinking that it might be a "divorce" from the previous car problem.

You need an eeprom programmer, I use a UPA USB.

      Hi Pecky,
I am in similar situation as Phonec. I have CD70 and now I bought through Ebay CID for Opel Vectra C which is not divorced. Can you please help me find out security code? Attached is my dump file.
Thank you very much and best regards,

Good news, that dump is fine, your code is 0318.

      Hi Pecky,
thank you very much for the code. Is there any special procedure how to unpair CID separately without radio? I have my CD70 divorced and is in a delivery state but I can't divorce CID with Tech2 using your code. I tried deactivate the theft protection without radio or reset CID but with no success. The CID was reseted but still paired (I have save mode on the screen permanently). Pair or unpair CD70 with my old GID working perfect.
Thanks for any advice & Kind regards,
      Michal

Pecky, I need your help please, Vauxhall are being very awkward with me and say they cannot obtain my car-pass!!

I have a cd 30 mp3 fitted, If i remove and read eeprom from it can you provide me with the vehicle security code?

I am going to make a simple rs232 reader as per http://www.llamma.com/xbox/Repairs/Images/PCB2.GIF will this do what I need?

      Many Thanks

      James
