Cd70 navi

Hi guy's just a quick question, does anybody know anybody that can retrofit Aux in on a pre 2007 Cd70 navi, the date on the back is 1/7/05 so I'm pretty sure its the whole solder jobby, and if so how much would it be?

And question two, does anybody know where i can get the latest firmware update disk for the cd70 navi from?

I think [MENTION=4]Pecky[/MENTION] can do this mate but he's not taking bookings at the moment due to a house move. There is also a chap called Stampede that can do it for you but you'll need to contact him through VXR online.

I've got a firmware update CD, what version are you currently running?

It's the version that doesn't have the junction/lane view on the sat nav

Iirc Pecky doesn't do this retro fit, as asked him to do mine in the vec and he said it's just too complicated tbf

hmmm . Okay in that case does anybody know someplace in the UK that does this? i would use an FM transmitter but they are rubbish ive found and you also dont have the ability to tie in the steering wheel functions.

Are you sure it's a firmware update you require for the junction view and not an actual map update? If you can find out what version firmware you've got (video's on YouTube to show you how to do this) let me know and if you need it I'll send you the version I've got.

It's a lot of hassle having the aux in fitted, I was lucky and found a genuine piano black CD70 with aux in so I don't have that problem.

That's what pecky told me when I asked about it, apparently there's a lot of work involved and practically stripping the radio

Yeah I've heard its a bit of a pain but i just don't want to be making Cd's all the time
