    ESP or tc

    Right then people. How can I find out if my zaf has tc or esp ??? Bought a tc loom off [MENTION=16]benz[/MENTION] but I need to no if I have tc or esp so I can connect it up to the right plug . Anybody got a clue ? [MENTION=4]Pecky[/MENTION] [MENTION=3]Gairo[/MENTION]

    You have the loom and the switch now then ? I guess its a case of connecting it up and activating the option within the ECU to find out if it actually works or not

    It isn't usually a case of either, it is normally TC or TC+ESP.

    Difference for ESP is that there is a YAW sensor.

    I spoke to a couple of different Vauxhall garages and they were no help at all. One told me it had tc. One said it has esp and one said it has both. The problem I have is that if I connect it to the wrong pin I run the risk of breaking my car. It's a certain pin if I have tc or a different pin for esp . If I connect it wrong the tc or ESP light won't go off even when disconnected

    I'd suggest checking the relevant part numbers with a car thats known to have either system against your own for starters

    A yaw sensor is a gyroscopic sensor that measures angular velocity around the vertical axis
