What engine is it?
Hi
I have a question, I have clutch switch install, stalk install, cable connect to Ecu and I had Tech2 done by Adam - Stampede ( he check everything and was ok) . It was done some time ago, but for what ever reason cruise control does not work at all.
Is there any additional wiring that is missing in Astra Life compare to other trim ???
Cheers
JK

I'm Most H's with incomplete wiring are missing the link between the main body (X1) connector and the XE2 connector under the bonnet, but still have the clutch switch wiring behind the clocks. The easiest way of refitting this is:
- remove the battery
- remove the lid to the underhood electrical centre (UEC) next to the battery, there is a diagram on the lid showing how it's removed.
- remove the plastic trim behind the fusebox hiding the 80A fuses
- remove the 10mm bolt behind that trim
- unscrew the 3x T25 holding the looms to the UEC
- pull off the UEC completely and put it somewhere it won't get wet/damaged etc. (it's expensive!!)
- remove the bottom right-hand loom from the holder under the UEC and locate pin 27. It should have a grey wire coming from it. Tap into this wire, using scotchlocks, a choccy block or similar. Make sure the connection is tight and well insulated. You will need maybe 3 meters of wire coming off this.
Refit everything you've removed, then:
- make a small hole in the large grommet behind the glovebox.
- remove the glovebox (4xT20) and push the wire through the grommet, pulling the loose wire into the cabin.
- tie wrap the wire under the bonnet well, so it's not loose and not dangling over anything hot
- remove the headunit and pass the wire through to the driver's footwell
- remove the lightswitch and trim covering the pedals (4xT20)
- connect the wire you've pulled through the grommet to the grey wire coming out of the clutch switch plug. Again, make sure it's a tight connection and well insulated.
Plug the clutch switch in, fit it, tie wrap the wiring so it's near, refit everything you've removed and that's it... all you need now is a stalk and programming.
