Ask Chris maybe, or ant?
Hi all,
Not sure if right section so please move mod's if its wrong. A while ago I brought a gsi brake and hub setup and some alloys, I don't particularly want to fit them myself and even If I did I don't have the time... simple thing would be take it to a garage.. again I can't afford to not have my car for the day due to work commitments. I've thought about a mobile mechanic but I just don't trust them lol. Any advice or anyone that would do it for me???
Thanks
Matt
Ask Chris maybe, or ant?
Take it to a garage and ask for a courtesy car
I could do it Matt but as said, you need to be mobile or you'd have to wait around for it to be done or you'd need a lift back
Ye either way you look at it your gonna have to take it somwhere and have you got brake pipes aswell ???
Ant, as you know, mk5 SRi and VXR lines are different and have a different size banjo bolt but I'd assume that the hoses are the same on the GSi as they are on the SRi so he might get away with keeping his existing lines ?
Gairo or ANT-VXR Up to you 2 who does it lol, but when are either of you free to do this + how long would it take for you to do it. As for what Smiffy said, I've got, hubs, discs, calipers, caliper holdings erm handbrake cable, pads...
Chris can do them m8 as Im spending all my free time changing my engine on my work van and then ive got to rack it out and swap all my machinery before then end of jan and ive gotta da it again aswell
Rather you than me dude, that sounds ermm time consuming to say the least and I thought I was busy lol. Thanks anyway though mate :-D
