Best thing is to get a pic of you vec on and get one of the guys to photoshop a set of satin black rims on it
got a dark red metallic Vectra b same colour as Andrew Nicolls totally standard 1.8 at the mo
but just managed to get some pretty battered phase 2 gsi rims of the bay one was cracked but have had
it welded now sending them for the refurb was gonna get em dark silver but now thinking about satin black to give it a bit of attitude
what do people think will it look like a cheap job even jhough they being done proper or will they look cool? will put photos up when done

My flakes aren't far from satin, they always look filthy and tbh I would never see the point in doing it

Ant, lacquer defeats the object, they will get a gloss finish with lacquer applied to them
aah probably a no go then, choice is very dark silver or black?
I suppose once the black are covered in brake dust they'll look satin anyway
Mine are gloss , drove to Snetterton and back , now matt lol
