It gets programmed in ECM and BCM variant config, that should be it.
Hi,
Searched the whole forum but came up empty so...
Just retro-fitted a cruise-control stalk to a friend's Corsa C.
It's 2006, pre-facelift (I think) with Z13DT engine. Has CDR2005 and no CIM module which makes me think pre-facelift.
Wired in 4th wire from stalk to BCM pin 2.
Clutch switch changes between active / inactive.
Brake switches 1/2 change between active / inactive.
Cruise control voltages vary nicely as I press I/O/R
Cruise control "present" programmed into BCM.
Possibly some other cruise control programming into another module (instruments?)
In engine measuring I consistently get "Cruise Control Tip Switch" "Not Programmed"
Variant Code index for BCM is 11 / 5.
Instrument tell-tale test shows cruise-control LED not fitted but reading around I get the impression that shouldn't stop it working? (I have LED on order anyway).
Any ideas? Can't find a list of variant code indexes for BCM so wary of trying other values willy nilly!
It gets programmed in ECM and BCM variant config, that should be it.

Just following up to say that it now works (albeit without instrument LED - that's for another day).
I ended up reprogramming ECM and BCM variant configs to cruise control not present then reprogramming back to present.
There's a slight possibility the order is important and it needs to be turned off for a while.
Hope this helps anyone else struggling with Corsa C Cruise Control retrofit!
Hi. I have the same problem. I programmed Cruise Control but it dosesn't want to work.
Can you tell me in what order You programmed it?
sorry, that was too long ago for me to remember
probably the best plan is to put the settings back to "not present" in ECM and BCM then leave the car alone for 30 minutes
after that program both to "present" and leave car alone for another 30 minutes
I don't remember doing anything special than just trying again and again...
good luck and report back for other people in the same position
For some reason I can not propgram Cruise control i BCM? I select criuse control to be programmed, push programm button and when I check if programming worked I get "Cruise Control not proesent"
I dont know what is going on with it. I used Tech2 (standalone)
