BCM is a favourite on the corsa
Just been to look at a corsa, was told just needed key programing and when I got there it was faulty bcm due to flat battery.
Anyway tried sps reprograming it but no joy thinking about it now should of tried replace option, but advised them to get a new bcm, this the 4th time iv came across this now.
This one messed up sps don't recognise it, it's not talking to the IPC, airbags, ECM, complete embolisation lol
Have you a chance to dissamble it and look at pcb?
If its ok try this
1. Reset ecu
2.programm immo ecu
3. Reset bcm
4. Program immo bcm
5. Program all keys
6. Delete dtc
Been told this fixies that bcm issue
If this wont help can tell little bit different approach which i have personally done
Car isnt starting you get only spanner light?
normally they fry due to flat battery and being jump started...
No mate was a customers car sat a a garage in middle of no where lol. I check codes every thing pointed to bcm check bcm code had a service bulliten so checked that all seemed to come back that the bcm was fried.
Reset bcm, sps request, went to pass through reprogram no joy, comes back with error tried other way no pass through same again, anyone no what EEPROM it has, will dump it when i go to program new one in and dump new one when it's updated.
I would suggest dumping dead one and compare than with good one if its a problem in eeprom but if problem is in other components check pcb for faulty one
Eeprom should be 93c86
Going down tomorrow they got one from vx so should be easy to program.
