    Can you remove keyless start and fit normal ignition

    As title says VX can not find the fault with my car on the none start issue .. And as it's keyless start they can not reprogram me CIM as got no ignition

    Any ideas guys ???

      I've retro fitted it to my van, so yes it can be removed but you would need a new cim, keys, ignition barrel, door motors, some rewiring and programming and probably a few other bits that I cant think of right now.

      Is that right, had a new CIM in mine and guess there is form of reprogramming in to sytem for that and I have keyless. Start button is your ignition basically one touch to turn on etc

      Are their really sure that cim is faulty (any symptoms shows that?) maybe its just a start/stop button have their tried replacing it or connecting directly without button?

      No I lost functions and got reverse functions from CIM problem.

      I was thinking same as dom if your not getting anything.

      Had the odd occasion were multi function plays up .no horn or light issues

      Will ask them 2 Moro and see wht they say

      Def sounds like CIM failure, have you checked if car had the call back for CIM clips from couple years ago.

      Dealer should be able to replace and programme.

      They have tried a new CIM apparently and nothing mate

      well i wont be surprissed if you cant get ignition that means no programming find a way how to get ignition
