Hi Guys,
I have a problem with converting GID Grundig Delta to blue.
I found on the website thet I need PLCC6 leds. I bought them but they too big.
I took some measurements and original leds are 3mm lond and the one I have are 5mm.
Any idea what to look for what kind of PLCC6 I need or anything please.

Thank you. it looks like thats what I'm after. I have ordered 10 and will reply how was it.
Some nice pictures, if it turns out well, please?
I keep thinking about it myself, but I do like the red original.
There will be a work shutdown for a week or two for me in the summer, and it might be something to do if I get bored.
It's quite a few LEDs to change across the whole dashboard and controls.
No problem I have already all done apart from gid. Once completed I show few pics.
How many leds you got on pcb if 10 than pllc6 if more than pllc4 but can be done with pllc2
It's ten I have ordered the ones from link above, have tried everything but can't get them to work. I have changed them back to orange. Can anyone tell me how to change it using plcc2? Its 10 led grundig gid.
Check your leds with multimeter if they lights up in same position as orange ones as there is loads of them with reversed polarity (cut corner side positve) to change them to pllc2 check this it will give you answer but remember double check polarity
Thanks for that. It looks like all three legs on each side are identical + or -. Plcc2 having 2 legs on each sides should be soldered to the same pads on opposite sides. I've read somewhere that some pads need to be isolated and not connecting to plcc2 in order to work. That's where I'm confused.
Yes,with pllc4 to pllc2 you need to isolate one pad on pcb as pllc4 has 3 negative and 1 positve connection
