You must separate old radio and display with tech2.
Then check that the new radio has been separated too.
When you install new one you need tech2 again.
Hi everyone,
I am new in this forum and also a new to vauxhall....
I have cd30 installed in my car with bid grey colour.
My car is 1.9 design cdti auto
I want to replace it for cd30 mp3 just for the aux....
I thought of changing the whole headunit and replace with an aftermarket dvd, something with a touch screen and bluetooth. But i want to keep it oem as much as possible, this is why i thought this is most straight forward replacement. ( also thought about cd70 navi.... which i think i will only buy for the aux.... i use only google maps)
I am open to recommendations, but please consider i am not very good in connecting things.... so plug and play is much easier....
So my question, if i bought a headunit with no screen cd30 mp3, can u help me with the codes??? If I don’t have them. And will it be easy to install or i will need OBD programming???
Thank u in advance

So this means i will need obd programming for old and new....
Is it easy to do, if i am not familiar with these stuff....
Or just give it to a pro?

It is easy to do if you have a tester which can do it.
