Good thing - all reassembled and feeling much better
Bad thing - base issue still remains (i.e. cant get into 1st gear when slowing down - have to come to complete stop)
Hi,
so I started to have issues with selecting 1st gear. Quick visit to friendly garage and diagnosis came back as worn bushing.
Ordered replacement kit, then removed gearstick assembly, however I then encountered small issue.
All videos show that bottom end of gearstick have all elements relating to gearbox linkage removed (i.e. end is rounded metal)
however I still have plastic bit attached where said metal ending of gearsitck resides.
How on earth disassmble this so I can finish repair? H E L P
