Ok, so I have sorted out and downloaded. Now I am starting to get a picture of the issues with the car. So the pass from the head unit doesn't work on the ECU and I cant connect to the head unit through the diagnostic port and vaux-com.
So my thoughts are as follows: its a changed head unit and not connected.
The car pass from the radio is for another car.
My ABS or air bag ECU is also locked.
Is my next step to use the REC EEPROM to find the code for the car? I would rather not mess with the engine ECU etc. as I am just a little worried about damaging it.

what are the issues your trying to sort?
As far as I'm aware the ABS unit doesnt have a security code, nor does the Airbag ecu....

So I have a transponder key error but engine runs.
Plus I need to get a spare key and be able to programme it as I only got one key in the sale.

yes you can pull the code from the rec or uec whichever is easiest for you
