Lights config

When i unlock my Zafira B the lights on the back of the car for the numberplates turn on, supposedly to make it easier for me to find the car.

Was thinking...Is it possible somehow to change this so that it will turn on more lamps than just the 2 in the back.

Would be great if it could also do side flashers and maybe the small 5W bulbs in the headlamps as well.

if it is likethe astra it is not possible without a HLS

Agreed, No standard function to do that on Tech2

switch off ignition, open drivers door, give the other side of the road a flash with your highbeam. get out lock car. You should have tail and revering lights on the back of the car and side and dipped beam on the front. Well it works on both the Zafira B and Astra H

Hi all, New to the site, have read a few bits and it all seems very exciting, cant wait for pay day to start modding

with this particular item could you not run a cable from the number plate light to the sidelights ?

they will both be on at the same time so no issues from a driving point of view but you will get the exteded time range of the light being on when getting out.

Never tried it, however CANBUS will turn the circuit off if unexpected power draws both high and low are detected. Not sure it will light up too much, but that's the point of modding, nothing tried nothing gained.
