UHP-4 install questions

So i got the UHP-4 and installed it as per instructions.

I have enabled the UHP-4 in midspeed canbus in all modules and when i press the top button on the left side it says "No telephone connected" (In german)..I have read that i can have the language changed by Tech-2 service but is it available in all languages or only English, German and other major languages ? (More specifically, is it available in Danish ?)

Also, i cannot get to the bluetooth menu even though i told both EHU and DIS that the bluetooth portal is present. My understanding is that a variant id is needed to be programmed into the GID (Or EHU ?) ? If this is right i will need tech-2 as the opcom unit i use does not have complete support for my DIS. (What variant for Zafira B)

On a seperate note....When i took the radio out there were only 3 populated pins in the lower part of the quadlock connector...These 3 pins are left and right aux and gnd ... I have read that the 3½" jack should be in and around the area of the handbrake but have not found it...Does anyone know where the wire is usually tucked away if fitted but not fitted in the other end. ?

I can't remember exactly which languages are available, I will make a list next time I connect to mine. It has to be updated via tech2 and SPS to update the firmware.

Yes you need to program the Variant Configuration of the GID, the mobile phone portal needs to be present, which is the same for astras, vectras, zafiras. The code index is specific to the zafira, but this has nothing to do with bluetooth.

I believe the other end of the AUX will lead to a black connector under the cup holder to the rear of the handbrake, so you need to remove this.

According to the OPEL Mobile Phone Portal manual, the only supported languages for Voice control are :

German
(Britisch) English
French (EU)
Ialian
Spanish (EU)
Dutch

I am now booked for a tech 2 session next friday.

What kind of time consumption am i to expect if they should.

1. Enable Check Control in the GID
2. Enable Bluetooth menu in the GID
3. Reprogram the UHP from German to English language

Just so that i dont end up paying for 4 hours of work if it realistically takes 30 minutes.

The CC end Bluetooth is enabled in every other module but the display but since i only have the cheap opcom with old software i cannot do the display myself.

The time consuming part is the language change. If they use an MDI and tech2win it takes around 20-25 mins, if they use a tech2 hand held, then it takes around 50 mins

They should be able to do all that in an hours labour charge.

That's pretty much exactly what tech2 uses. Take around 10 mins to connect with tech2, prepare for SPS programming and then going through TIS to get to the flashing page, the rest is the painfull download.

MDI lets you skip the preparing for SPS and runs faster.
