Anyone with access to Tech2Win or GlobalTIS should know how to use the SPS function.
Can you explain how can I update the CID trought Tech2.

Hi there. Can anyone help me?!
I have a 54 reg (2005) astra h club model with GID. I have managed to enable the trip computer with opcom but I cannot seem to get the fuel range to work. When I turn on the ignition the display says the fuel range range is 0 miles.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks

I had the same problems as dacho65 earlier so I connected as vec c and tried 002 and 007 with the same result
But that isn't the ones for your car, that's an Astra H and you have a Vectra C
You need to look up the correct one via the threads in this section http://www.diagnostics.org.uk/help/f...hp/49-Vectra-C depending on petrol/diesel and body type.

Sorry I think I have confused things! I have a Astra H 1.7 cdti with a GID as standard. When trying to program with opcom it only gives the following codes: -
00403_noice
00503_ice
00801_ice
00801_noice
00901_ice
00901_noice
Same as dacho65 posted earlier in this thread.
Hi, I have same problem as dhaywood85, I have Opel Astra H 1.9 CDti 2005... i think i have linear resistance, I programmed 002 index, but fuel range on my computer shows 0km HELP!
I suspect the latest GID displays don't have the earlier Linear Resistance code indexes, if that is the case, there is nothing you can do.
Way of checking is to try with genuine tech2, that will tell you if the code index is available, opcom does not and will attempt to change some bytes in the eeprom regardless. This is why it can cause some problems with items as it bypasses some of the tech2 checks.
Putting it on tech2 is the only way to check properly

Can I just check that I need either code index 002 or 007 for the BC? And also does the Variant configuration need changing? (Astra H 1.7 54 plate 2005) If not then I guess I'm stuck with no fuel range! Or at least I can get a tech2 on it
