Insignia Diesel Engine Ecu Software Update using Gm Mdi

Hi,

As Above I have a 2011 Insignia in with Cylinder Pressure Imbalance trouble Codes, I Know that There is a software update to help fix this Problem,
I have Gm mdi and recently started using it, So basically want to know how I go about preforming Software update of engine ecu,? I have security access as I requested a few weeks back, Guessing sps Programming..?

I think you have to purchase a subscription and some other things as well.
I'm not 100% sure now as it changes every year

it is a clone or genuine mdi first of all? If its a clone and you attempt to program via GM's servers they will ban your account i believe

SPS should work with any J2534 compatible interface.
