    Undivorced BID

Good day all, I was going to replace the BID in my Astra H. I was told the replacement was divorced,
however it would not accept my car's code on installation. I have a Carprog clone and tried to read the eeprom
but got only FF from beginning to end. Have I broken it and if so how? (to avoid repeating the error).
Is it possible that the eeprom has been overwritten by the divorce procedure?
and if so is there anywhere a binary file for a divorced BID, part number 13301077 UA. Thank you.
