as you can tell, i'm very new to this kind of thing, wiring i have no problem with, but my only experiance with programming is arduino boards, tho i am about to get an eeprom programmer, and a clone MDI when i have saved up the £200 for one, then i need to learn how to use them

i kn ow i could do something simple like monitor the central locking unlock line, and when its activated twice within a second it connects the boot release switch line to earth.... b ut, this being a meriva with the suicide rear doors, there's a lot of locking and unlocking going on,

What i'd really like is to use a 3 button remote, and get the BCM to react to the "open boot" 3rd button press on a remote,
