Fault codes u2105 and u2139

Hi new to the forums but looking for some information regarding an 09 plate Zafira B. 19cdti elite. The vehicle will not crank and diagnostic codes from a Delphi android brings codes up in instrument u2139 steering column module invalid data permanent and multifunction u2105 engine control unit no communication permanent I’m no sparky by any means but have a little knowledge with multi meter i have Haynes pro auto data on my laptop to help me with wiring diagram if it’s correct when I input fault code u2105 into the diagnostic Haynes it asks me to check supply voltage on pin a1 of controller module ecu for battery voltage checked battery voltage at battery 12.4v check at pin a1 only 7.7v check fuse 21 in engine fuse box ok check pin 1 on fuse 12.2v check pin 2 on fuse which I think should not have volts without fuse in place is 7.6v need some info on fault or if I’m going wrong some were have also checked relays and found to be in good working order just wondering if I could have a short on fuse box or one of the three components on same line .water separator/ inlet manifold valve control motor and the egr valve or am I totally wrong any input would be a great help thanks hope I’ve posted in right place

7.6V is not real voltage, any load on it and it goes to 0. I have found the same problem on Zafira B, wiring insulation failure close to engine ecu. You need to load test the power supply wiring.

Open fuse box and check for water damage.
