Using the Diagram above, have retro fitted front fog lights, (F.fog lights). However can't get them to switch on. This is what has been done.

Replaced non f.fog light switch with f.fog light switch.
Had car programmed so when front side lights or main beam lights are switched on and f.fog light switch is pressed the instrument panel illuminates to indicate f.fogs have been switched on.
    Now the tricky bit.

Have tapped into pin 93 at X1 for fuse this is then connected to 30 and 86 on relay.
Pin 87 on relay connects to f.fog lights.
f.fog earth is connected to ground in engine bay near battery.
tapped in to X1 and connected pin 85 on relay to pin 9 at X1

When sidelights/headlights are switched on and f.fog light button is pressed it indicates on instrument panel that lights are powered but zilch.
    Can't even hear relay engage.

Have scoured the internet and read all the posts on here and elsewhere, everything looks right. Even tested out the wiring on my test rig which worked without fail.
Have i missed something? Checked relays, fuses etc all A-OK.

    Help would be greatly appreciated.

Just spent a little time checking the connections made near the X1 connector,

      Pin 93 - Battery voltage - reads 12.7 v - OK - that's what i'd expect.
Pin 9 - Signal from front fog light switch - reads 12.7 v ???? Pressing front fog light button makes no difference.

Before i remove the instrument panel to check wiring as follows

Light Switch >> Instrument panel >> X1 connector pin 9

Has anyone else had the same issue and did you get it sorted?

Many thanks in advance. Looks like i'll be chasing/checking cables next week when i have a spare day or two.
