Delphi GID coding problems

Hi all
Using 'plop-com' I've managed to activate the BC on my GID.
But the range is miles out because the only coding options it gave me were 004, 005, 007, 008 and 009 !!
I need 002 as mine Astra is an 2004 !!
Is this a glitch in Plop-com ? If so I'll get it tech2'd

Just an update......

I've been to see a guy with Tech 2 and that too is giving the same code options as my Opcom.
It's not giving me 002 or 007 which I need for the Range to work !!

I'm pulling my hair out now

Are you sure that that gid is for astra? Check if your tech bloke can update it

You have a GID for a facelift, which only facelift 07> will work

Makes sense as it from an 2007 car !!
I've got a blue plug one but it's got dead pixels....would it be easier to change the fuel tank sender and change the coding of the gauge ?
