Hi SoulmanHaving the 3 pins on the radio does NOT mean it is there, that is bad info...
the ident on the radio determines if its there from factory or not unless its been retrofitted.
I believe AN (for astra) is the same range as vectra (AE) which was one of the very first early ones which wont have it..
Just looked it up, and as suspected its one of the very early ones.. very much doubt it has it otherwise the firmware would have already been upgraded
and btw, thats not the Vauxhall part number..
Thankyou for confirming the unit is from an Astra, just rechecked the part number is 13145172 / date on it shows as 03.06.04/0
Its working fine but think will look for a newer set.
Cheers for your help
So decided to give the Navi unit ago i like it but it has developed an issue which im hoping is an easy fix, the radio has developed a disc read issue at the cd part the navi drive from what i have seen isworking faultless.
Is there a definite fix for the INVALID DISC Error
If it does it with good original cds than try cleaning a lens if that doesnt help than lens needs to be replaced
