have you tried to rewrite original file to it, cant really see from your picture because of the flash.

If backlight is ok, (as cant see that failing due to a simple bin file change) then must be something u done.

take better picture as well.. Is there a burning smell?

logo should be in the middle
right edge of the black.
This has been modified to dump the upgrade purpose.
work in another display astra h ...
not smelt smoke...
original dump ok...

operation ok. i write 8bit 93c66 display ok.

So ignore the thing about 'the light tube has failed' as you've proven its not that...

so now is ok, with 'new' dump but written 8bit?
