ignition logic is normally found on the radio settings mate.. not the screen..
and the cd70 will defo work with 3 line displays, what happens when you plug it in?
Hi.*
I've got back a CID from Pecky thats been upgraded to 3 line. It's working but i need the change the ignition logic state and the option is no longer there...*it was set correctly using a CD70 prior to the upgrade
I am not using the factory radio so it's just through steering controls. I've tried hooking up the old CD70 but as the screen is upgraded it wont wotk with that.
Is there antlything i can do?*
I have a canbus decoder which i use to control other devices in the car and with the ign logic set the way it is it is not working.
Cheers,
Ant.

Thanks for the reply,
When I connect the CD70 to it I just get a black screen, no logo, nothing.
I have found with my previous screen that ignition logic setting is saved in the screen, I assume this because I previously used a BID (and after market radio) and the can bus decoder would not work. I temporarily connected my CD30 to change the ignition logic setting. Then disconnected the CD30 and the decoder then worked.
Now, when I try the upgraded CID, the screen works fine but my decoder shows same issues as it did when the ign. logic setting was wrong. I have tried to reconnect the BID and the decoder is still working - which leads me to believe that the setting is stored in the screen...?
If I could get the CID to work temporarily with my CD70 again I should be able to toggle the ign. logic setting the other way.
Okay I have some more information - the CID does work when CD70 is connected
but when going into settings it does not display the ignition logic setting - this is the screen where the setting was displayed prior to upgrade
With BID attached the setting is available - the Vx radio needs to be attached in order to change the setting but it's remembered and stored in the screen even when the Vx radio is removed and my after market replaced.
But I cannot make that change on the CID.
When i sent you the CID for updating I did tell you that I would be using an aftermarket radio - is there anything that was done that meant that it would not recognise the Vx headhunt anymore?
If I sent the screen back would you be able to set the ignition logic back for me?
Ant.
As you have an aftermarket radio, I set the theft protection without the radio and selected no radio in the variant configuration to give you the settings menu.
I think you said you have opcom, if yes then
First try going into the display variant configuration and change it from "no radio" to one of the others, e.g cd70 and see if that brings it up.

Nice one. I actually just cut out the canbus decoder tonight and sourced the ign and lights etc from elsewhere and routed the cables to the radio / gauges etc.
Its all fine now. Bit of effort but its right now
There isnt ignition logic settings on cid well i havnt seen yet on any
Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
As above, the screen comes on anyway when you turn on the ignition... The logic settings are there so it can set whether the radio itself comes on with the ignition or not
Hi,
Well that is not an issue anymore as I have made my own ignition line.
I do have another problem though, when I sent the screen in I was told it would be programmed for the newer type fuel level sender (my car is 2008)
I ran my fuel right down today but the range was still showing 150 miles - Is there anything I need to do to set this so it reads correctly please?
Tanks again, Ant.
I'm fairly sure I set the code index on programming, check / set the code index to 009
