What type screen you got?

As my Astra Club CDTI is technically a 'first edition' 2004 am I right in thinking that I'm limited to displays that would work correctly with trip computer functions ?
Most I've seen are listed to work with 2005 onwards vehicles !!
I'm asking as I've just got a CD30 MP3 with Aux and it's matching display says 'no function' when I press BC
What type screen you got?

No function means its not programmed and its not possible to program bc on screen with 2 buttons (tid screen)

Or if you have a BID and BC is not activated

It's a BID that came with the CD30 MP3, so I assume that the BC functions haven't beeem programmed ?
As it was one of those 'ebay' specials I have no code for either so Tech 2'n isn't going to work
Its not activated than, as far as i remember code isnt needed for code index programming

If you can get the eeprom bin file off the display. Then we can get the pass code for you
You will need a eeprom programmer for this to work.

Cool, I work in the electronics repair industry so I'll sort it
Also, it's from a 2008 Astra so would the BC functions be accurate on my 2004 ?

It's says on your footer that you've enabled needle sweep ??
Is this possible on mine ?
Depends if your clocks are compatible.
