Vauxhall Corsa C MFD Led problem

I have recently changed the leds in my mdf unit and the screen has now dulled even though its was exactly the same bulb from crazy leds but new.
Also the dimmer switch on the headlight switch is dimming the dash and heater controls but not the mdf unit like before.
I turned everything off and locked van and looked through passenger window and the screen on the mdf unit has stayed blue but no writing on it and it didn't do this before changing it, all three bulbs are lit and right way around - a led wnet the other day so I ordered a blue led from crazy leds and fitted it today and I have the white diffuser in brightness fully turned up but it's still dull
Don't understand as when I installed new head unit and new mfd 6 weeks ago mfd was super bright
The head unit still all lights up and works and clocks and heater controls all light up
Is there anyone who could look at the mfd and see what the problem is

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Yeah. You have short the contact on the dis this has caused the LCD to fail.
It's a common thing when changing LEDs.

Is there anything that can be done to fix this , I have a spare circuit board from my old mfd from vehicle

Do you have a stock Stereo or aftermarket

The current cd30 radio/cd and mfd unit I bought from eBay a few months back and they were both from the same car
Everything was perfect for a couple of months but like a idiot I changed 1 led with the plug in the back of display unit and ignition on the second position

The display is fudged, you need to get another once.
If its a stock stereo then you will need to divorce the old DIS and pair an divorced display
Or
you can take the stock stereo and display out and fit another display with an aftermarket stereo

Its bright enough at night just dull during the day, and when I remove key from ignition blue background on display stays illuminated faintly.
I cant believe that no one can rectify this on the motherboard - willing to pay obviously.
