    UHP 4 Programing

    Hi all,

One of my friend has bought a UHP4 and the loom.
We tried to program it after installing it but every time programing fails.

I think the UHP has not been divorced from the previous car.
Is there any trick to reset this UHP in order to program it in the new car?

    thx

If it isn't divorced, the only way to clear it is to SPS the firmware again using Tech2.

Are you using OPCOM? does the bluetooth module have a 2010 production date?

I did read that the latest pirate version of OPCOM cannot program the 2010 UHP code index and possibly more

You will have no problem then once you have completed the SPS programming.

You do need to fully program all the settings in UHP module and adjust Mid speed can settings on all modules on the Mid network BEFORE the theft protection will program.

This means that using SPS on any controller will reset the security code stored in the memory?
    Thanks Pecky.

    Have a nice day.

No, it means it will ONLY do it for the UHP4 and nothing else.

The security code is in the MCU that gets overwritten during SPS on the UHP4

Every other module has the security code in a separate EEPROM or other chip that is not overwritten during SPS

Set in EHU variant config navigation menu disabled. Or check that the value does not show invalid. original or clone tech2?

    Vectra C GTS
    Dear pecky,

    I have a Vectra C GTS (2006) with CD30 MP3 + GID and i have my car pass.

I have bought a CD70+CID+Aux+UHP4 with all the looms and they are coded together.

So my question is about the installation, what I will need?
    1. I need to inactivate the theft protection of my current CD30 MP3
    2. I need to change to CD70+CID+UHP4

And after that what can I programming?

    Thanks in advance!
