    CD30 and MFD Display issues

    Hi all - I have a vauxhall combo van 1.3 - 2008
Last week I soldered a small led inside headlight switch and plugged switch back in and things went wrong - I found out I soldered plus to minus
I bought a new headlight switch since and fitted it
Anyway the display unit went , so I bought a second hand mfd unit and cd30 that are paired fitted them and display is back
I found one fuse has blown in fuse box so replaced that
The problems I have radio and display don't come on with ignition even though they are set to in radio
On display i have a F where temperature should be , fitted a brand new outside temperature sensor but made no difference , only way to get displayto show is by manually turning on radio, also the dimming switch dims the clocks and heater controls but not the display unit, also when radio is on and headlights are on the radio doesn't light up but plays radio stations and cds.
Checked all fuses in fuse box no more blown, checked voltage on battery 12.7, checked the plug at the back of mfd unit with multimeter and got 0.00
I keep reading about bcm but don't know where to look for broken wire or wires
Checked everything with opcom and no faults are shown anywhere
If anyone could help me solve this I would be so grateful as it's doing my head in
    Many thanks in advance

Temperature f could mean wrong screen, can you post part number for screen so we can check if its for your car.
Also you possibly will need to change code index

If it has similar wiring as vivaro than in passenger side in dash check fuses with battery marking

Well i think there was a post some time ago with similar problem and result was not compitable screen.

Does mfd was from corsa, combo or meriva? If from any other problem could be there if not than try changing code index
But im more concerned its wrong screen

Combo should be same wiring as corsa, so that fuse can be or not there, but yiu can check - open passenger door and check dash end if there is cover to remove

But why does radio not come on with ignition just manually the same as display unit and also no lights on radio when headlights are on
If its a removable panel or flap at end of dashboard I have nothing like that all my wiring is behind glove box when taken out

Right i will explain you a bit
When you switch a lights on, signal gets sent to screen that lights are on than it gets sent from screen to radio to switch backlight on
So incompitable screen doesnt understand message correctly aswel as different sensors in other models makes temp ad incorrect or F
Check here if you replacement screen is under corsa c https://mega.nz/#!NJ8hQIha!a1M7UfgDD...dgsHEdMUfR42Ms
And is facelift if pre facelift it uses kwp protocol instead of can bus
