make sure your reading software is set to read it as a 93c66.. Oh forgot to say, if you've misclipped it you stand a very good chance of corrupting the eprom.. does it still power up ok?
the file should look like this...
CID ident KS - 8816 AstraH 93c66.bin
I can not download the file, I do not have the necessary permissions.
Can you send it to my mail?

I think the eeprom has been corrupted, it is the first time I work with an eeprom, I first used a reader that did not work well until I got this reader that was compatible with my eeprom, but did not know the orientation in which the connector And put it backwards at first.
In my eeprom the car code does not appear anywhere ... the structure is similar but I think it is wrong.
Is there any solution??
post up the bin file which you think is correct... i will have a look
Thanks a lot for the help, I'm a little desperate with this problem.
eeprom_5.bin

i ended up removing the chip to program it after i first corrupted it..
If you flash a 'blank code' eprom to the screen then you can pair it to another unit.. Did you need the code from the screen or just want the screen reset to delivery state?
I want to install it in my car, in the simplest way possible.
