    Vehicle
    Vauxhall combo 1.3 cdti - 2008

Unsoldering old mfd chip and fit it to new / used mfd unit

My old mfd unit was so so dull so I purchased the exact same one used from someone off eBay and he told me it would plug and play but he lied it doesn't the mfd unit displays display safe
I have tried everything using my opcom firmware 1.39 tried numerous vehicles and there is no way to pair original cd30 and the new used mfd unit
I have been told if I unsolder the chip from my old mfd unit and then solder it in the new used mfd unit it will work because it will have the same code as the radio then.
The trouble is I have never soldered so just wondered if anyone on here could do this for me
Many thanks in advance for any help
My vehicle is a vauxhall combo 1.3 cdti year 2008
