Z19DT field remedy 2149 for low RPM juddering [120bhp not 150bhp] - can I copy EEPROM

I'm suffering from juddering with my engine but there's this field remedy:

    Field Remedy: 2149
Subject: Engine Z19DT/Z19DTL - Jerking in certain rpm range
    Models: Engines: Option:
    Astra-H ...2006,Zafira-B ...2006,Vectra-C 2004...2006 Z19DT| Z19DTL,Z19DT| Z19DTL,Z19DT| Z19DTL only C9 system and 2 valve engines
Complaint: Customer complaint about engine jerking between 1500-2500 rpm, mostly with 2nd or 3rd gear engaged.
Cause: Problem is related to a EGR software deviation.
    Production:

    Remedy:
In case of customer complaint reprogram ECU with an improved software.
The new software will be available as of CW30/2008 via TIS2WEB
(version 8.0) (Only vehicles with MY 2006).
Modified software for Vectra/Signum, MT, with and without DPF,
    as of MY 2004:
    Available as of 27-Jul-2009!
    FunctionalGroup: J - Engine
Complaint Group: 19 - Poor Engine Driveability
    Trouble Code: None
(My juddering goes away if I disconnect EGR cable)
How do I know if this has already been applied? Here's a screenshot of my ECU output (edited for privacy):

    My other question is:

Can I perform this software update myself by copying someone else's ECU EEPROM and re-pairing it to my car/updating VIN & mileage, etc.?

P.S. what is engine ID 0x0730? I don't seem to have DPF but what else is different from (say) 0x0710?

No, because the software update isn't in the eeprom it's in the flash chip.

the ID 0x0730 is the diagnostic identifier for the ecu, it's just the address Tech2 talks to.

Any idea if this new software has been programmed into my car?
The field remedy mentions the software being available as of CW30/2008 which I understand as week 30, 2008.
That works out as July 20th-206th but the software programming date is June 17th.
