    Security information in Clutch actuator.

If you change a clutch actuator from another car it will no longer start.
Does anyone know which chip holds all the security information in the clutch actuators?

    I find theres a 24c16 in there.
If one were to swap this chip with the original would it run?

    Has anyone ever tried it?

    thanks
    Martin
