I don't reset files, its much safer to use tech2 or opcom to reset it.

Pecky, after I divorced my cd30mp3, I install de cdc40, I desactivate the Theft Protection with the code that you gave me (3628) successfully with the radio safe and display safe info in my GID. When I tried to activate once again with my cars factory code It gaves me two errors

Should I try to reload the original bin file into the eprom?

Timeout means its trying to find an item on the canbus network which either isnt responding or isnt there.

Check the midspeed can setup on both the radio and display and also the uhp4 (bluetooth) if present, and also ECC (dual zone climate control) if present, plus DAB as well.

In your case as your changing the headunit only, check the midspeed can on your old cd30 and the midspeed on the cdc40 your fitting.. (also make sure DAB is not present unless you have fitted the seperate dab unit by the footwell as well)

Based in soulman post (the unit is trying to find some module not present)

Just to 'close' this thread, I re-write the cdc40 eprom the the 1st file that I read (present in the 1st post) and then I tried to divorce it with opcom with one diference. 1st of all I deactivated the DAB module that the new radio had 'on' and my car don't have it, then I divorced and then married it successfully!
