Change BID to GID ASTRA H

Sorry for my English.
Today I got the display GID (SE 13178570 0x1201) and started for the replacement.

After replacing and enter the security - the temperature on the display constantly shows -40 C.
The messages have GID:
U2139-71 - not correct data from CIM
U2174-00 - No communication with EHS - CAN

In addition, BC shows the fuel consumption only when the vehicle is stationary - driving displays 0.
The range also shows wrong.

First a tried index 007 01 - i think that is correct for my configuration - but not working correct, after i tried all the index.

I use OPCOM china clone 201008

On the BID everything was OK

Do you have any ideas?

That GID is from a 2004 car and will only work in 2004/05 cars with linear resistance sensors (does it have an 04 date on the back?)

If you have linear resistance then use code index 02, if you have linear voltage, it is no good for your car.

It has an 06 date so it may be compatible. For a 2008 car it needs to be set to code index 009.

If that doesn't work then it is either opcom (likely) or an incompatible display.

tech2 from China for $ 250
MDI for $ 190?
VXDIAG VCX for $ 120?
- it works?

If any - Allows SPS - to decode the module UWA?

All of those are capable of doing SPS. You need the access to the firmware to do the SPS though.

I started getting issues using Globaltis for the SPS as it would cycle the UHP firmware update 3 times and fail. I now only use GME Infotech online, but you need an account for that.
