No Phone Symbol on screen

hi all am new here, just got a 57 plate vec c Sri, with cd70 navi
the car has an old nokia type phone cradle hard wired and a mic
in the roof, also it has the uhp4 Bluetooth module, for some reason
there is no phone symbol on the screen (greyed out), how can i fix this so i can use it

someone did mention, to unplug it and plug it back in again, is this a good idea

up date, i unplugged the uhp4 module and plugged it back in, now i have the phone symbol, i was trying to pair the Bluetooth with
my phone when the screen froze, after a while it cleared now i cant access the settings when scroll over to the phone symbol,
shall i try unplugging it again,j

sounds like uhp4 module it knackered.

its possible i suppose, i did try unplugging it again and i can now
access all the settings as normal, i have not tryed pairing with a phone
yet, i did try the first time around and my phone samsung s6 couldnt see the
UHP4, i was thinking of getting the CD70 updated disc and try updating it

I think you have to find phone from uhp not the other way around........if I remember correctly that is

It still not working correctly.it seems to be conflicting with the cd70.which doesent seem to turn of once i pull the key.could this be a tech2 programing issue or like soulman said its knackerd.
I have pulled the plug on it now till i get it sorted .i would still like to use it if possible so any help would be apreiciated .j

You defo think so? Can any thing be done with it.
If i get another one will it need programig.to get it to work.would tech2 show a fault on the current unit.d
