Cd70 navi problem?

Hi guys wonder if anyone could help? Recently when I'm using the sat nav in my astra the roads do not seem to point upwards if you know what I mean? When looking at the map and following the roads the arrow can be going left, right, up and down and somtimes speeding up as to catch up with where I am? It's still following the route but looking at the screen i'm going backwards?
I've tried switching the unit on and off, taking the disc out and in again. Could it be with the fakar ariel or do I need to upgrade the firmware? I have as it was retrofitted? Anyone else experienced it?

There is a menu item which changes that, I can't remember what it is called, but take a look in the settings for map orientation.
