So you managed to sort it out now or still playing up?
Let's start a project thread straight away this time!
Been and got myself a new car finally, after much debate ive bought a black 54 plate signum v6 cdti design, y30dt
And the first thing the little buggers done is spit it's dummy out over the egr valve!
Full service history, either main dealer or griffin autos up to 121k, now on 140k so has been a motorway muncher all its life
She's got a few marks, but has half leather, climate control, elite wheels etc and I love it
Still playing up, egrs blocked up by the look of things. But even though that's happened I still really like the car so gonna stick at it and sort it out. Going to hopefully give it a good clean tomorrow
Looking good mate.. Imagine these go well being the v6 rob?
for a big heavy car its surprisingly nippy, when not in limp mode it surprises me how easy it gets up to a fair pace
took the rear badges off completely too now, so nobody knows what to expect from it.
not gonna do a lot externally either as i love the standard shape and look of a signum, so towbar neck off, bigger pipes, pressed plates, lower it, wheels, sort the front end out and thats about all i want to do. going to look into a decent size stereo instead for this car as i know from experience they bass well
Done the next little mod while I had 5 minutes
I said I was keeping this one clean and simple, so all the roof lights are now white leds, looks brilliant in the run of roof storage compartments
Picked up these yesterday
Krystal kleen detail brake away wheel cleaner
Choccy wash shampoo
Iron rain fallout remover
A dooka wash pad
And a pair of liquid elements sponge bobb sealant applicators
Went out at 8am to wash it
You can't see too well on easier pics, but the wheels were badly caked in brake dust on the front and covered in iron to the point they had a yellow tint, I thought they were a lost cause
Put the fallout remover and wheel cleaner on this morning and set to work on the paint
About 20 minutes later I attacked the wheels by hand, and it all came straight off! Couldn't believe it
Good job mate they look brand new lol i want to try some of this krystal kleen stuff of nick
I treated myself to it yesterday, for a non acid cleaner it's really good stuff
First long run today, still in limp mode which was interesting up the pass!
Managed 45 mpg bearing in mind I was planting it to get up to pace so not too bad, torrential rain on the way home though but it sat planted to the road through it all
