Low fuel not comming on CID

Hi Guys, Happy new year to you all.

Having a slight problem? Recently fitted CD70 and CID which all works fine, my problem is when i'm low on fuel it never comes up on the screen telling me to refuel.
I have the 3 line CID and all other functions work ie range etc and even when I fill up the range goes up, but cannot understand why low fuel never comes up? Check control is enable and bulb warning works etc. Would it be because I may have a different fuel sender?
My car is an Astra H Estate SRI 1.8 2009 and the CD70 and CID came from a 2010 Zaffy?
    Appreciate any help guys.

Also whats your view on the PepaS comfort unit and video thats availble?

    Cheers
    Triggar

It's because the software is different to that on the BID and doesn't give warnings at the same levels. When it is really low it comes up REFUEL!! and gives the option of navigating to nearest petrol station. That's just what it does and sounds normal to me.

No idea on PepaS unit as I've never seen one.

Cheers Pecky! To be honest i've never let it go really low so i'll leave it a while than normal and see if it comes up!

Regarding the PepaS here's the link: http://www.vxronline.co.uk/forum/sho...y-www.PepaS.cz

I know what the PepaS unit is, looks OK but can't give a considered opinion as I've never used or seen one in person.

Cheers Pecky. Same here never seen one, looks OK but like yourself I'll reserve judgement untill I've seen one working.

Hi, Still having problems with the low fuel not comming on the CID? I have let the fuel run down untill i was virtually running on fumes and that the petrol light was flashing on the dash, but still no warning on the CID or nearest petrol station on the nav? Would this feature be enabled or not with the check control?

      Cheers guys
