I have goodyear effecient grip performance, and they real good. Have a look at a place called ALine in dudley, they are really competitive and give good advice too..
Kumho are a good middle of the range tyre. Ive got landsail on and there s**t. No grip in wet and not the best in dry. Justcame on my wheels so waiting for them to wear out.
I have nexens on mine and they are pretty good all round tyres...
Got them from A-LINE in Dudley...
Try tyretraders.com they are cheapish, I had 4 19" for the vxr cost about £220 I did get em fitted myself though.
Yeah nexan are good aswel
Camskill don't have any 225/40's in these at the moment but these are the next best thing and wont make a massive amount of difference to your rolling diameter.

These are what I have got on mine currently and I've had them on for 14 months now, they still grip well, they've worn well and they're relatively quiet too. I honestly can't complain for how much I paid for them (£42 each) and I paid £10 per tyre fitting to give you an idea of cost mate
Tbh I'm not sure if I need them or not I assumed I would need to replace them soon cause of the mileage I've done but the front two seem like they have decent amount left the two on back are old but ones got loads of tread...
the he two rear tyres tho do look old as in have cracks around the edges and also one of the front tyres had a massive wedge taken out of it by a nasty curb...been through two mots though and nothing. Are these cause for concern or just standard wear? I thought it a tyre starts to crack around edges it could be a fail on safety?
ideally though when I replace any tyres next time I'll do all four so they are the same make...something that I dislike currently is having three different makes on one car lol
