Diagnostic reader( astravan)

Hi guys just need some help to see where I can get a diagnostic reader, I looked on ebay but some say not for my model? Iv got a astravan sportive 1.7 on a 53 plate it's been going into limp mode every now and then but last week engin light came in the dash so guess that's the fault,I don't wanna pay stupid money just a basic one will do. Any help would be great cheers

Why dont you ask one of the guys on here to plug it in for you is it the dti or cdti

I have a snap on solus and I'm clued up on them engine if you need my help pm me

I'm not sure without looking at the logbook if it's the cdti or dti mate
