Temp gauge help

Ok guys for some reason my temp gauge has stopped working as I used to have vauxs I remember about the sensors so I replaced that and it still doesn't read anything ? Now if it's stood running it will go up could this be the thermostat or is there another sensor somewhere ? It's a 1.8 cheers guys

Sounds like the stat could be stuck open

Cool well I'm gona get it done the same time as the top mounts I think as they are shot aswell and bang all over the place lol cheers for your help mate
