how hard to replace crankshaft sensor zaff gsi

Hi guy's just got my car back had a few things done mainly wear and tear had a fault had checked came back with cranshaft sensor all symptoms tally to cuts out when warm won't start till cool etc...ordered the genuine part from vauxhall bloody 50 quid gave it to mechanic he didnt fit it saying it wasnt needed what a prat broke down tonight till cool.

Well enough of me waffling on how hard is it to replace the crankshaft sensor on a 03 zaff gsi

Its a bit of a nightmare tbh m8 its basically behind the aircon pump its a right fiddly job to get it out
