    Discs and pads all round :(

    Car is in desperate need of discs n pads front and back

    Cars 5 stud and vented disc on front
    Will the back be the same :/

    Any one got a idea on a price get parts and also for fitting
    Due to the weather that were supposed to see the weekend i dont fancy my chances

      Euro car parts to the pagid solid discs and pads for £28 a corner in 5 stud 308mm.. then get more expensive as you go up the range really but id just go bosch or pagid mate

      Sorry for late reply , cheers lads are they 308s on a sri then ? Wasn't too sure when i gave them a call earlyer ,
      Also can i jus prise the piston open to change , due to receiving a quote all in for 195 -232 i no its payday but surly that's not a genuine reasonable price lol

      No don't just prise the piston back, you'll run the risk of blowing the seals in the master cylinder that way, do it properly or not at all, brakes are THE most important part of your car. NEVER, EVER mess with brakes if you don't know what you're doing...

      What have you been quoted ? what does 195 - 232 mean ? is that 2 prices you've been quoted ?

      If that's the case then get the parts and bring it to me, I'll fit the discs, pads, drain, refill and bleed the entire system with brand new fluid for less than £100

      Im unsure of your sizes mate but i know thats mine and that price is relevant for that size mate

      Yes mate cheapest was £192 then the regular garage i go to quoted me £232.

      I see how this could cause me problems in the future ,

      So i suppose its better to b safe than sorry in this case ....

      When i see discs and pads so expensive like this it makes me glad I've got my little corsa, pay around 60 pound for discs and pads then fit them myself, cheap little car for everything its great!
