This applies to Astra H, Zafira B, Corsa D, Vectra C (1/2 can), Signum
Description People commonly believe that the radio and display are coded to the vehicle they come from. This is not the case at all. They happen to use the same securtity code as the car, but have no other dependency on the car itself, other than the display is programmed with details of items present on the CANBUS, but this can be changed to match the new car.
All the infotainment items on the Mid Speed Canbus network are paired together on a common security code. That is, the Radio, Display, Bluetooth module and DAB module.
In order to change, add or reset any of these modules, you need to know the security code stored within. Once you know this code, they can be reset. IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE DONE IN THE CAR THE ITEM CAME FROM.
I can recover the code & reset any of the items on the list below
