Multimedia sat nav problem

I have a small problem which I hoping someone can help with,right here goes

I have brought myself(much to the wife's displeasure) a A-line multi media unit. Fitted it and all working well and well pleased with it. Now I'm not blaming her but the wife went out earlier and now the sat nav is not working....says no navigation software.....I'm stumped why!!!

Anybody have any ideas why? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi mate yes it does take a sat nav from a sd card. How would it get corrupted?

Will it it need new sat nav on the card or is it the unit itself?

I'd try a replacement SD card first as they can sometimes crash, its not unknown for them to become corrupted. A tip for you is to get another card as a back up too, just incase it hapens again

Thanks for the advice,will check EBay see what I can find... Just a thought Could I just copy the info from my tom tom?

No, you couldn't do that, thats like trying to put a Mac OS onto a PC or IOS onto an Android phone.

You'll need the proper software or a genuine compatible software.

Oh right,makes sense I guess. How would I find out what compatible software I need to put on the sd card.
