Front Camera System

Hi I have a MY2013 Insignia with factory front camera system.

My camera system only reads road signs but I recently had MY2014 hire car that could be set to "reactive" which slowed the vehicle if the signs showed slower than the vehicle.

My car also has adaptive cruise and collision detection so I know all the parts are there to brake etc.

Is there a software update to allow the additional features?

I'd say no chance at the moment, there just aren't the settings there to say present / not present in the same way as on the earlier cars.

I've even tried to get a VCI code for the rear camera given that I have all the requirements, Navi900, park pilot and the factory camera, but they still refused to give it.

Programming can be a pain in the *** on these cars.
