Yeah thats a more simple way.. As long as you cut the vinyl nice and neat

yup that's the best way to do it m8 take it in ur house so its nice and warm aswell make it a bit easier
Hmm the second line is a valid point id probably snap the thing in half lolCan I just point out that while it will be easier to wrap the item once it's removed from the bumper, it's worth considering this:
Can you remove it without damaging it ? (this stuff is notoriously difficult to remove without damage and you're crap at this stuff by your admission)
Are you happy enough to have it bonded back on and confident of making sure that you don't use excessive bonding mastic so that it oozes over the edges ?
Once it's bonded back on, the vinyl that you wrap it with will NOT be fully removable due to being sandwiched with mastic between the bumper and the splitter
Have you thought about just removing the bumper and wrapping it and then cutting it to follow the join line where it attaches to the bumper ?
But then how likely is it ill be abke to remove the bumper and reattatch it on my own? Lol as im guessing its illegal to drive the car without the bumper fixed on
Driving without a bumper is more than likely a no no by now mate, they've outlawed pretty much everything else so it's a fairly certain to attract the boys in blue
The bumper itself is easy to remove, you just need a bit of nerve, failing that, you bring it to me
