Pedal box for the GTC worthwhile mod or not?

I've been offered a nearly new pedal box for my Gtc and I'm just wondering if they really do make that much difference to throttle response? I'm saying this as I'm this close to buying a Gtc vxr but I'm trying to just see if I can do something to stop my quest for more power and protect my bank account lol. If I buy the pedal box I will also be fitting a DTUK tuning box taking the car to roughly 180bhp

Steve, get it properly remapped mate, it'll drive much nicer... I don't rate the pedal boxes personally but others do so it might be worth asking if you could try it first ?

I've had a pedal box before and personally I think they make a load of difference. If you're gonna be spending the money then a map would probably give you more value but if you wanna just plug and play the peddle box is a great bit of kit

Ideally I would love a remap but I can kiss my lifetime warranty goodbye then. I suppose I can always sell it on if I don't like it. Are pedal boxes easy to fit?

Dont Courtney or one of the other tuners do maps that are still covered by them under warranty?

Piece of piss mate, literally a 2 minute job to do, unplug the clip above the pedal and connect the two ends to the relevant ends of the pedal box (both sides are clearly indicated) and then you're all set. Hardest part is trying to get down into the footwell to reach it

Nothing mate was test driving the vxr, I'm coming back in on Sunday to try it again and possibly buy one. Not sure yet I'm just trying to convince the mrs we need 280bhp more then 5doors lol
