    Keyless entry issues

    Hi guys

so loving the new car so far but have one really annoying issue.
time to time the keyless entry system does not want to work.

Has anyone got any knowledge on this area ? Tips or remote resyncs ?

Mine did it at first on the estate.

I just avoided putting the key in a pocket with phones etc and anything that could affect the signal. Also try replacing the batteries.

^^^^ that would be my suggestion too, possibly low battery in the key fob. vaux reccommended to me to get them replaced roughly yearly as they run down pretty quick cause of permanently being 'on' broadcasting a signal for the car sensor to pick up when you're in range

Well one of the two keys is completely dead so in I'll try that one first. Any recommendation for battery ? Do the dealers sell them ? Do I need to re sync the key as I'd assume it's been dead for a while or will it just start working again ?

Craig, have you spoken to Vauxhall about having the emergency bypass pack fitted ? It's a worthwhile modification and doesn't cost a lot to have fitted, it also doesn't need Tech 2 programming either...
